I am running to be our State Representative because I am concerned about the direction our state is heading. There are many serious issues facing our state and our community. I possess the integrity, ability and commitment to effectively take South County values to Jefferson City and make a difference.

I have lived all of my life in South County.
I was educated in South County public schools. I live and work in our community.
I understand our neighborhoods and care deeply for the people in our community.

As your County Councilman, I fought to protect our families by writing the law that requires all food handlers to be vaccinated against the Hepatitis A virus and the law that made road rage a crime. I fought to protect our neighborhoods by leading the effort to redevelop the South County Mall without a public subsidy. I led a citizens-driven plan to give residents control over future development. I am a fighter for the people of South County.

As our State Representative, I will work to ensure that our school districts are fully and fairly funded so that our students have the tools necessary to succeed in the 21st century. I will work tirelessly to create jobs and fight to protect working families and pension-holders. I will strive to achieve affordable health care and health insurance for all of us. I ask for your help.

Please volunteer to put up a yard sign, stuff envelopes, or go door-to-door to encourage your neighbors to vote. I would also appreciate your financial support, either through an on-line contribution or checks mailed to my campaign. Most of all, I would appreciate your vote.
